Otter-ly Great Birthday

I've been making birthday cards lately, here is another one from mostly Lawn Fawn...an otter this time.  The otter and the sentiment are from the Year 5 set, the fish from the Stud Puffin set, and I used the Stitched Waves set for the various ocean waves.  I created my own cloud stencil.  The border die is from STAMPlorations - Crazy Double Stitched Borders.

Manatees Shell-ebrating Birthday

Lawn Fawn's Manatee set makes such a cute card. I made this to shell-ebrate a friend's birthday.

Chameleon Coloring My World

I made this card for a friend.  The chameleon and the sentiment are from different sets by Lawn Fawn, my new favorite stamp company!  The tiny royal blue border around the black card base is barely visible in this picture.

Mardi Gras

I made a card and then decided it had very Mardi Gras coloring.  So now that it is close to Mardi Gras, decided to rework the card to make it MORE Mardi Gras.

Here is the first:

Here is the final card, both the outside and the inside.  This version uses a fleor-di-lis embossing folder for the background, removed the blue color, and added more flor-di-lis to the inside in the traditional colors of purple, yellow, green.

STAMPlorations Monthly Challenge - January

I've entered a card challenge!

I'm entering a card challenge for the STAMPlorations January challenge.

I didn't use the optional colors this time.  The card I'm entering in this challenge is one of my Africa "Have a Great Day" cards that uses the STAMPLorations stencil "Prim Pattern" as the background.

I've also entered it into the STAMPlorations Never Ending, Anything Goes Challenge

Africa - Have a Great Day

I discovered a new stamp company just after Christmas.  STAMPlorations.  Thanks to their stamps, I already have 2 of next year's Christmas card ideas.  This Africa card utilizes one of the several stencils I bought from them.  I thought it was a perfect background for this Africa themed card.  I have created my own set of card challenges to help keep me inspired and I started this card for Challenge #11, Make a single layer card, but then without thinking about it, I added a mat of green.  So much for that challenge!  It really is a challenge for me!  I also created one with an elephant because I didn't like how the background showed through the stamped image.

Besides the STAMPlorations stencil, I used Local King Rubber Stamps for the tree, giraffe and elephant.  The Have A Great Day is from a set that I am not sure of the stamp company.

You Color My World

I used the Lawn Fawn stamp and die set "Color My World" to make this card that I sent with a STAMPlorations coloring book.

Purple Birthday Cards

I have two friends with birthdays in late December and early January and both of these ladies like purple.  I made two different purple cards using the MFT Stitched Blooms.
